<blockquote type="cite" cite>The Dexter Community Orchestra will be

presenting it's Mother's Day Concert on Sunday, May 14 at 3 pm in the

Dexter High School Center for Performing Arts.  Featured on this

concert will be world-renowned saxophonist and University of Michigan

professor,<b> Donald Sinta</b>, who will be performing Bruch's

"Kol Nidrei".</blockquote>

<div>Also on the program will be Beethoven's "Symphony

No.6", Copland's "Outdoor Overture", Berlioz'

"Roman Carnival Overture" and the first movement of

Kabalevsky's "Cello Concerto" featuring Dexter High School

Cellist Sarah Schroeder.<br>

<blockquote type="cite" cite>Prior to the concert, at 2:30, the 5th

Michigan Regiment Band will be performing authentic music from the

Civil War.  The band members will be in period costumes and

performing on period instruments.</blockquote>
