The annual Colourstrings summer course has taken place in </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-GB">London</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-GB">

since 1989, and this will be the third time that this event is

organized at the

birthplace of this highly successful method. Director of the symposium

is <b style="">Dr Géza Szilvay</b>, author of the

Colourstrings. <br>

<br>

At the symposium, we intend to summarize the musical, technical and

methodological experiences that we have gained during 40 years of

Colourstrings

teaching. We will also introduce the continuation of the existing and

published

Colourstrings materials, including <span style="color: black;">the new

volumes E,

F, G of the </span></span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; color: black;" lang="EN-GB">Violin</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; color: black;" lang="EN-GB">

<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; color: black;" lang="EN-GB">School<span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;" lang="EN-GB">.

The website has been opened at <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.colourstrings.fi/">www.colourstrings.fi</a>,

and the period of application has started. Application deadline is the 1<sup>st</sup>

of June, and there is a discount for early applications (by 1<sup>st</sup>

April

10 %; by 1<sup>st</sup> May 5 %).<br>
