our Louis Potter Cello Competition, which will take place at First Baptist
Church of Troy in Troy, MI on Monday, May 3<sup>rd</sup> in honor of Mr. Louis
Potter.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>We feel very fortunate to
have sponsored this competition for so many years during Mr. Potter’s
lifetime.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>In fact, many of the
early competitions he attended, and many of his former students were winners.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Once again, we are looking for
applicable candidates to compete in this competition.<span style="mso-spacerun:
yes"> </span>The contestants must
be a junior or senior high school student who plans to major in music performance,
education, or composition, and the prize is $500.00 applied directly towards their
first-year tuition at a music conservatory, college, or university, as well as
a $500.00 gift certificate to our shop.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</span>If you have any students that are applicable, please pass the
