This is a unique opportunity for you to get together with other young bass players and play ensembles, get instruction from nationally recognized bass teachers and performers and hear some outstanding bass playing. We will begin registration at 8:30 a.m. The workshop will start at 9:00 a.m. and end with a short informance at 2:00 p.m. in the Troy Athens High School Auditorium. </b></span><br><blockquote type="cite"></blockquote><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: ComicSansMS; font-size: 17px; "><b>Joining me as clinicians for the workshop this year will be John Kennedy and Alex Hanna. John is a string teacher in the Farmington Public Schools and was formerly the Assistant Principal Bassist of the Honolulu Symphony. He has been nationally recognized for his work with young bassists. He is a clinician at the Richard Davis Bass Workshop at the University of Wisconsin and the Bay Area Bass Workshop in San Francisco, and is the President Elect for the International Society of Bassists.</b></span><br><blockquote type="cite"></blockquote><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: ComicSansMS; font-size: 17px; "><b> We are to have as our special guest Alex Hanna, Principal Bassist of the Detroit Symphony. He has performed throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, and is highly in demand all over the country as a teacher and a clinician.
