<div dir="ltr"><span class="" style="border-collapse:collapse;font-size:13px">Dear String Educators,<br><br>The University of Michigan String Educators Workshop will be held this year on <span class="" tabindex="0" style="border-bottom-width:1px;border-bottom-style:dashed;border-bottom-color:rgb(204,204,204)"><span class="" style="">Thursday June 23</span></span> through <span class="" tabindex="0" style="border-bottom-width:1px;border-bottom-style:dashed;border-bottom-color:rgb(204,204,204)"><span class="" style="">Saturday June 25</span></span> on the U-M North Campus in Ann Arbor<br><br>This year we are taking a slightly different approach from the past few years. The workshop will contain two tracks designed to meet the needs of string educators with varied backgrounds and levels of experience. We will offer sessions for experienced string educators interested in continued development of their instrumental pedagogy and conducting skills. Participants will refine rehearsal and conducting skills, and expand their knowledge of string repertoire and pedagogy. We will also have a track for band and choral educators who find themselves assigned to teach strings. These classes will provide a straightforward, understandable, simple approach to string teaching. If you have any colleagues with a band or choral background that have recently been assigned to teach strings in your district, please recommend this workshop to them.<br><br>The workshop is a wealth of information. Kirk Moss, Rebeccah Hunter, Maggie Hasspacher, Katri Ervamaa, will be joining me on the faculty.<br>I am attaching the flyer to this email. Registration info is here:<br><br><a href="http://music.umich.edu/string-workshop" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color:rgb(17,85,204)">music.umich.edu/string-workshop</a><br><br>Thanks,<br><br>Mike</span><br clear="all"><div><br></div>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="'comic sans ms', sans-serif"><br></font></div></div>
