Both sessions will be in the Howard Music Building, in Conrad Recital Hall, 79 East College Street, Hillsdale: lecture 3-4, masterclass 7-8. Hal is a nationally recognized expert in the development of exercises specifically designed to keep string players physically healthy. He is also a beautiful violinist. I know he has given workshops at Interlochen and Mimi Zweig’s String Academy. I have included an attachment detailing his approach. Please check out his website! I realize this is a busy time for you. However, I strongly recommend the workshop. We all have so much to learn about this important issue. Also, if you have students who have some physical problems, please encourage them to bring their instruments and play for him.<u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman""> <u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman"">My best wishes,<u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman""> <u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman"">--Melissa Knecht<u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman""> <u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman""><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:calibri;color:black">Melissa Gerber Knecht, Ph.D.</span><u></u><u></u></p><div style="font-size:12.8px"><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman""><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:calibri;color:black">Professor of Music (violin, viola)</span><u></u><u></u></p></div><div style="font-size:12.8px"><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman""><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:calibri;color:black">Hillsdale College</span><u></u><u></u></p></div><div style="font-size:12.8px"><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman""><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:calibri;color:black"><a href="mailto:mknecht@hillsdale.edu" target="_blank">mknecht@hillsdale.edu</a></span><u></u><u></u></p></div><div style="font-size:12.8px"><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"times new roman""><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:calibri;color:black">517-607-2365 o</span></p></div><div><br></div><div class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div><br></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
