<p>The National ASTA office has announced that a new website - <a href="http://www.astastrings.org" class="OWAAutoLink" id="LPlnk943433" previewremoved="true">

www.astastrings.org</a> -will be launched at the end of April.  It looks like an awesome new site - note the new address - I hope you will have time to check it out!</p>

<p>They have asked that I pass along the deadline - April 17 - for applying for the National Orchestra Festival and submissions to present in Atlanta March 7-10, 2018.  If you missed the conference in Pittsburgh....I'm sorry...it was GREAT!  The orchestra festival

 performances, workshops, exhibits, jam sessions, master classes AND fellowship were inspiring.  I hope you will all plan to attend next year in Atlanta!</p>

<p>Last, the folks in the National ASTA Office are very concerned about membership lapses.  I will be making some phone calls next week to encourage you to renew and to ask about your views about how we can better serve you.
