<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Hello <span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> Members,<div><br></div><div>I hope you are well and had a nice holiday season with family and friends! <span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px">I wanted to share with you our 2020 <span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> <span class="gmail-il">Camp</span> Application and some other information about <span class="gmail-il">camp</span>. The deadline for applications is May 1st. For more information about the <span class="gmail-il">camps</span> you can visit our <span class="gmail-il">camp</span> website via the </span><a href="http://www.astamichigan.org/" target="_blank" style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px"><span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> Website</a><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px"> or you can go directly to </span><a href="http://www.mastastringcamps.com/" target="_blank" style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px">www.mastastringcamps.com</a><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px">. The <span class="gmail-il">camp</span> application is available on the "</span><a href="http://www.mastastringcamps.com/registration.html" target="_blank" style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px">Registration</a><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px">" page of the website and has also been attached to this email. Information about the individual sessions can be found on the "</span><a href="http://www.mastastringcamps.com/about-camp.html" target="_blank" style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px">About <span class="gmail-il">Camp</span></a><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px">" page.</span></div><div><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px">We have three videos on YouTube that you can show your students so they get an idea of what <span class="gmail-il">camp</span> is like. You can check out our channel </span><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.8px"><a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcIBh8JLPC2R_fldzv9DvCA" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcIBh8JLPC2R_fldzv9DvCA</a>, or for the general video go to <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOauyTwWBNk" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOauyTwWBNk</a>. If you would like a poster for your classroom or studio let me know and I can mail one to you. </span></font></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px"><br>There is a scholarship program for <span class="gmail-il">camp</span> sponsored by <span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> for those students in financial need. The application is available on the <span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> <span class="gmail-il">Camp</span> website on the Registration page at <a href="https://www.mastastringcamps.com/registration.html" target="_blank">https://www.mastastringcamps.com/registration.html</a>. This application needs to be sent separately to our Outreach Chair, Joanna VanEizenga, for processing. The deadline for the scholarship applications is April 1st, 2020. </div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px"><br></div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px"><span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> is also continuing the program where we award <span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> Members who send 5 or more students to <span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> <span class="gmail-il">Camp</span> a $50 scholarship to give to one of their students for the next year of <span class="gmail-il">camp</span>. If you sent students to <span class="gmail-il">camp</span> in 2019, and your membership is current, we will be checking our records and for every 5 students that attended <span class="gmail-il">camp</span> you receive a $50 scholarship. So, if you sent 10 students you get two scholarships, 15 students is three scholarships, etc. If you have any questions about this please email me. </div><div style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:12.8px"><br style="font-size:12.8px"><span style="font-size:12.8px">The <span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> String <span class="gmail-il">Camps</span> are a great way for young students to come learn more about their instrument in a fun and encouraging environment. Students of all ability levels are welcome at <span class="gmail-il">camp</span>. We differentiate instruction at <span class="gmail-il">camp</span> based on ability level so that all campers' needs are met. We also make sure that they have plenty of fun away from their instrument by providing a variety of traditional <span class="gmail-il">camp</span> experiences. </span><br style="font-size:12.8px"><br style="font-size:12.8px"><span style="font-size:12.8px">The <span class="gmail-il">MASTA</span> String <span class="gmail-il">Camps</span> are held at the Howell Nature Center in Howell, MI. The Nature Center has wonderful fa
