They are run by the </span><a href="http://www.astamichigan.org/" style="text-decoration-line:none;color:rgb(36,103,141)" target="_blank">Michigan Chapter</a><span style="color:rgb(42,42,42)"> of the </span><a href="http://www.astaweb.com/Public/Home/Public/Default.aspx?hkey=434a826e-b3c6-4035-9617-860942a049d2" style="text-decoration-line:none;color:rgb(36,103,141)" target="_blank">American String Teachers Association</a><span style="color:rgb(42,42,42)">. The MASTA String Camps provide young string students with the opportunity to have a specialized camp experience on their instrument in a relaxed, fun, and encouraging environment. There are three overnight sessions based on age and playing experience. While at camp students participate in orchestra, sectionals, small ensembles, as well as electives and recreation activities. </span></i></font></div><div><br></div><div>Our music director's this year are:</div><div>Session 1 (June 13-15) - Abby Alwin (Ann Arbor) and Nina White (Retired, Walled Lake)</div><div>Session 2 (June 16-20) - Sarah Maurice (Rochester) and Eddie Hasspacher (Ann Arbor)</div><div>Session 3 (June 22-27) - Wendy Stuart (Troy)</div><div><br></div><div>Along with the amazing set of music directors, we also have some fantastic counselors and coaches lined up to teach the campers!
