[MASTA Board] MASTA - input needed

Dear MASTA Board:


I just finished a conference call with the MMC Executive Board.  We are faced with a big decision (which MAY be made on Sunday) about the MMC for 2020.  The DeVos Performance Hall has an opportunity to host Hamilton beginning January 21, 2020 which would conflict with the MMC.  The leadership of the MMC Exec Board has provided us with the following options:


1.     Keep current dates (1/23-25): free SMG rental/all expenses paid for everything below
a.     Concerts in Steelcase (where we have exhibits now)
b.     Exhibits in the big exhibit hall (DeVos)
c.     Predetermined # of Hamilton tickets spread over the whole week (free)
d.     Discounted block of tickets for MMC attendees to purchase
2.     Keep current dates (1/23-25): free SMG rental/all expenses paid for everything below
a.     VanAndel for performances, and maybe exhibits too
b.     Predetermined # of Hamilton tickets spread over the whole week (free)
c.     Discounted block of tickets for MMC attendees to purchase
3.     Keep current daters (1/23-25): free SMG rental/all expenses paid for everything below
a.     Exhibits in Steelcase
b.     20 Monroe Live for performances (needs further investigation by SMG)
c.     Predetermined # of Hamilton tickets spread over the whole week (free)
d.     Discounted block of tickets for MMC attendees to purchase
4.     Move the conference 1 week earlier (new dates would be January 16-18, 2020)
a.     Nothing else changes
 b.     We cover all expenses as usual
