[MASTA Board] MASTA - input needed

Hello Janis,

I would be inclined to prefer #4 as well, but so much of this depends on
the district S/E schedules, which might also need to change, if that were
even possible!

Before I played Midwest this year, I never pursued taking an ensemble to a
"ballroom" setting. I was dreading it, and it was part of why I never cared
about Midwest in the past. But, I put it through the filter this year, and
it was well worth it in the end. ONLY worth it though, because there was a
shell, a stage with terrific lighting, risers for winds/percussion and a
strong performance atmosphere. Performing in a location like we have for
the teacher orchestra right now is not good enough, in my opinion. I think
the student groups deserve something much better.

Just my 2 cents!

Warmly,

Jonathan Glawe
