Hello Fellow String Teachers,
I am writing an article about Suzuki programs in the MI public schools
and I am hoping that you may have a few minutes to share your expertise
with me. I am specifically interested in the answers to the following
questions but please feel free to add any pertinent information or
comments.
1. Do you teach programs that incorporate Suzuki methods in the schools
and to what extent?
2. How old are the students when they begin lessons and how long do
they remain in the program? What music program is available in the
schools after this Suzuki program is completed?
3. Are parents involved in the process and how?
4. Do programs incorporate private and/or group lessons?
5. Are you a certified Suzuki instructor or are you incorporating ideas
and literature and to what extent?
6. Do you know of other programs that incorporate Suzuki methods in the
public schools?
7. What is your name, the school's name, and the city in which the
school is located?
I realize that your time is valuable and I appreciate your responses.
If this information has already been compiled, please forgive me.
Sincerely,
Kristen Pellegrino
