Greetings fellow String Teachers 

I would like to remind everyone to Pre-Register for the Michigan Music Conference (MMC) prior to December 3rd in order to save yourself the late fees, which are pretty substantial depending on what you're signing up for.  By pre-registering now you also give yourself the best selection of available hotels in the Grand Rapids area.  Rooms are filling fast so please do this right away!

A few additional reminders.  The on-line registration process is very easy and everything is layed out nicely - 5 minutes max!

1.  www.MichiganMusicConference.org - click on "register for conference" right in the middle of the page
2.  only ONE person may register at a time - spouses must register seperately (at a very reduced rate)
3.  be sure to check the MASTA box!  This assures MASTA of representation on the MMC executive board and planning committees
4.  consider the Pre-Conference SUZUKI Training on Thursday, January 24th - valuable for ALL teachers
5.  also consider the Pre-Conference TECH Training on Thursday, January 24th - this year run by TIME
6.  be sure to check the MASTA Luncheon box for your Saturday luncheon ticket - always a great time and a great meal
7.  and remember you do not need to purchase a ticket for the special ticketed concerts in the evenings - they are included in your registration fee.  You only need to purchase additional tickets for your guests etc if needed.

As always, let me know if you have any concerns or questions regarding MASTA activities or the MMC.  This year's conference looks fabulous with something for everyone, and more strings oriented sessions and performances than ever before!
