[Members] U-M workshop this summer: Chamber Music for an Orchestral Program

The Department of Music Education at the University of Michigan School  
of Music, Theatre & Dance, will offer a workshop for string teachers,  
July 6-10, 2009. The workshop, Chamber Music for an Orchestral  
Program, will be directed by Bob Culver and Kristen Pellegrino. An  
intensive, hands-on workshop within a laboratory setting, topics will  
include a survey of literature, executive skill development, score  
analysis and discussion of pedagogical issues from participants.

Workshops may be taken for graduate credit (NCFD), Continuing  
Education Units (CEU) or for personal enrichment without college credit.
