*Featuring World-Renowned Pianist and University of Michigan Professor of
Piano

Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 5, "Emperor"
and the Mendelssohn Octet for Strings!

*Mark Schuppener, Artistic Director, Conductor, and violinist
*

Featuring the magnificent Beethoven Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No 5 in
E-flat major, "Emperor." Also on the program will be two chamber works: the
brilliant Mendelssohn Octet for Strings, Op. 20 and the Glinka Piano Trio in
D minor, "Pathetique." Performing these works will be: violinists Stephen
Miahky, David Lamse, Mark Schuppener, and Stephanie Song Schuppener;
violists Eva Stern and Thomas Carter; cellists Daniel Thomas and Nicholas
Finch; clarinetist Elliott Ross and pianist Dmitri Vorobiev.

At this concert the AAC welcomes violinist Stephen Miahky, who currently
resides in New York City, as an artist among artists. Dr. Miahky is a member
of both Brave New Works <http://www.bravenewworks.org/>, a music ensemble
well known to Ann Arbor audiences, and the iO
Quartet<http://www.ioquartet.com/>.
The iO Quartet will give a recital in Carnegie Hall later in April.

The Ann Arbor Camerata brings together a group of friends, a community,
