REMINDER!

MARQUETTE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Young Artist String Concerto Competition
Recording due October 1st!

Information below:

	1st prize: $1,000 and a featured performance with the Marquette
Symphony Orchestra February, 2010

	2nd prize: $500

	3rd prize: $250

Winners will be selected via submission of a video recording of all
movements of a concerto, and will be notified by November 1, 2009

Competition audition requirements:
	1)Applicants must be string players and 30 years of age or younger
on January 1, 2010.

	2)Please submit a resume and video recording (including
accompaniment) of a complete concerto.  
		Letters of recommendation are optional.

	3)Enclose a check or money order for a $25 application fee made
payable to
		the Marquette Symphony Orchestra.

	4)Send video and application fee to the address below, postmarked by
		October 1, 2009.
