Dear Friends in the Arts:
We never want to imagine a childhood without Art, Music, Dance or
Theatre classes. These are the experiences that shape our humanity ,
give life to our soul and connect us with our culture . Please join us
in the fight to retain and strengthen arts education programs for our
next generation.
Your partnership ensures that Michigan Youth Arts can continue to be a
leader in Arts Education Advocacy for all of Michigan’s children.
Over the past year, Michigan Youth Arts has mobilized supporters, like
you, from throughout Michigan to raise our collective voice for arts
education. We believe that every child deserves a complete education
that includes the arts and we can realize that dream with your help.
Our premier program, The Michigan Youth Arts Festival is the
culmination of efforts by thousands of individuals working at the
grass-roots level in arts organizations and schools across the state.
Last May, we celebrated the Festival’s 48 th anniversary with nearly
1,000 of the top youth artists chosen over nine months and out of over
250,000 that auditioned, an amazing testament to the excitement about
learning in the arts.
Make a difference today by making a year end tax-deductable donation
at: www.michiganyoutharts.org/Donate
As you can see, your donation this year is critical to our efforts
throughout the state. By supporting Michigan Youth Arts, you are
adding to the preservation of culture in our community and providing
cherished memories for our next generation – on stage and beyond.
Sincerely,
Kim Dabbs
