Teacher Training at Suzuki Royal Oak – Institute of Music

Violin Book 2 – Apprenticeship Course
         Five – Three Hour Sessions
Saturday, February 20 (8:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
Saturday, February 27 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Saturday, March 6 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
Sunday, March 21 (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM)

The Book 2 Apprenticeship course will cover all of Suzuki Book 2  
(revised edition) as well as group class techniques, parent education  
and an in depth look at techniques specific to Book 2.

Apprentice Course participants will also be required to observe 8  
hours of lessons and group classes. Please contact Mark Mutter to  
discuss the specifics of how these observations may be fulfilled.

Course Fee: $300.00
(This includes all materials and registration fees)

Violin Book 3 – Apprenticeship Course
         Five – Three Hour Sessions
Saturday, April 10 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
Saturday, April 24 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Saturday, May 1 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Saturday, May 15 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

The Book 3 Apprenticeship course will cover all of Suzuki Book 3  
(revised edition) as well as advanced group class techniques, note  
reading and early ensemble ideas, and an in depth look at techniques  
specific to Book 3.

Apprentice Course participants will also be required to observe 8  
hours of lessons and group classes. Please contact Mark Mutter to  
discuss the specifics of how these observations may be fulfilled.
