Marquette Symphony Orchestra Young Artist 
Concerto Competition for STRINGS

1st prize $1,000
and a featured performance with
the Marquette Symphony Orchestra February 12, 2011

2nd prize $500		
3rd prize $250

Competition requirements:

1) No prior 1st place winners are allowed to participate. 
2) Applicants must be string players and 30 years of age or younger on Jan.
1, 2011.
3) The 1st place winner will participate in community outreach in accordance
with
 their schedule
4) Please submit a resume and video recording (including accompaniment) of a
complete concerto. Letters of recommendation are optional.
5) Enclose a check or money order for a $25 application fee made payable to
the
Marquette Symphony Orchestra.
6) Send video and application fee to the address below by Sept. 15, 2010.
Winners will be notified by Oct. 15, 2010. Please direct questions regarding
