Dear Friends, 

We hope that this email finds you well and that your spring has gotten off to a wonderful start! 

We are very happy to announce that this year’s Louis Potter Cello Competition will be taking place on Monday, May 13 th at 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Troy , which is located on John R road between Big Beaver and Maple roads. All applications are due by Monday, May 6 th . 

The Louis Potter Cello Scholarship is for a cellist who is a junior or senior High School student residing in Michigan . The award of $500.00 will be applied directly towards their first year tuition at a music conservatory, college, or university. A gift certificate of $500.00 to Psarianos Violins Ltd. will also be awarded to the same cellist. 

You will receive a hard copy of the guidelines and application in the mail, however we have attached them to this email as well. Please pass this along to any your students or anyone else you think would be a good candidate for this competition!
