[MASTA] Summer MASTA Notes

[MASTA Notes]

Hello!!

I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer! I am writing to let you know
that the deadline for the Summer MASTA Notes newsletter is approaching. I
have extended the deadline to August 9th. Any and all submissions for the
newsletter are welcome and should be sent to mastanotes at gmail.com.

On another note, the board has voted and decided to move ahead with
providing the MASTA Notes newsletter in electronic format. The benefits of
this decision include the following:


   - It will be easier to have more content
   - Will be easier to distribute to the membership in a timely fashion
   - The need for advertisers will not be as great, as the cost of printing
   and postage is very high

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I look forward to
receiving your submissions!
