SPLICE 2015 - Call for Applications

The Summer institute for the Performance, Listening, Interpretation, and
Creation of Electroacoustic music (SPLICE) is currently taking applications
for its inaugural year.

SPLICE is a weeklong intensive summer program for performers and composers
interested in music that combines live instrumental performance and
electronics.

Participants partake in workshops, master classes, private lessons,
improvisation sessions, performances, and concerts, in addition to
attending faculty concerts each night. The workshops for performers focus
on the technical aspects of performing, rehearsing, and interpreting music
with electronics. The workshops for composers explore various technical
applications and aesthetic considerations, including effects processing and
creating interactive music with Max.

The festival runs from July 5-11 and is hosted at Western Michigan
University.
