[MASTA] Announcing MASTA Lifetime Achievement Awards

The MASTA Board will be awarding two Lifetime Achievement Awards this
year.  We are honoring two members that have cultivated and enriched string
education in Michigan throughout their careers. We will celebrate the
achievements of E. Daniel Long and Marilyn Kesler during Michigan Music
Conference at the MASTA Reception following the Teacher Orchestra Concert.
The reception will take place at  the Amway Grand Hotel, Grand Luxury
Suite, 26th floor of the Towers. Please plan on joining us for this special
evening.

In addition to our Lifetime Achievement Award winners we will recognize our
three candidates for the MASTA Teacher of the Year Award. Abby Alwin, Dan
Scott and Anne Thompson.  This Award will be announced on Saturday, Jan.
24th at our MASTA General Meeting at 9 am in the Imperial Ball Room.

Please join us in celebration of these outstanding music educators. The
Bio's for our Lifetime Achievement Award winners can be found in the
attachment.
