Happy October 1st!
This is the day each month that I get send a message with the latest news from MASTA!  I start by looking at the MASTA web page and MASTA Notes Blog...it's SO MUCH FUN!  There is a ton of info about events and interviews with inspiring string teachers.  It's a great 'pick-me-up' at the end of a busy day.
The biggest news item today is the deadline to submit nominations for Studio Teacher of the Year AND Administrator of the Year.  These forms are due by Oct. 7th!  PLEASE nominate a deserving colleague.  Along with strengthening the position of the recipient, these awards are also great for the PR of our organization!  THANK YOU in advance for your extra effort in completing the nominating task!
MASTA is all about talented, dedicated and PASSIONATE string teachers.  Thank you for being one of them.
