Hi Janis,

I wanted to let you know, and request that you please pass along to the membership information about my resignation with TCAPS public schools.  It has been a difficult decision, but I have decided to make a career change.  I want everyone to know that I am leaving an amazing group of students; music, athletic, and academic colleagues, and an administrative team that is second to none.  The position is 6-12 orchestra between the middle and high school daily.  Whoever fills this position will find themselves in a part of an incredible, supported program located in the most beautiful city in Michigan!

This also means that I am stepping down from the Planning Committee.  I have already talked with Jim about this and there is another director who is beginning to step in.
