Hi orchestra colleagues,

This year, Michigan BassFest - West will be hosted on Saturday, May 19 at East Rockford Middle School (8615 9 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI). At the Michigan BassFest, young bassists will have a unique opportunity to come together with other young bassists, play in a bass orchestra, and be divided into small ability based groups to receive instruction from nationally recognized bass teachers and performers, and hear some outstanding bass playing! This year, clinicians include Larry Hutchinson, Derek Weller, and John Kennedy.

If you have any questions, feel free to send them my way! Attached is a letter for you, your students, and a student application. This information is also available on the MASTA site (http://astamichigan.org/events/michigan-west-bass-workshop/).
