[MASTA] Important MASTA message

Dear MASTA members:


Happy New Year!  I hope you had a great holiday celebration and are eager to get back to teaching and playing strings!


You will be receiving a series of newsy e-mails over the next few days but TODAY's message includes TWO items:


  1.
 The results of the recent Executive Board election are in.  Your Executive Board for the next two-year term beginning May 15, 2018:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Michael Hopkins, President-Elect; Dan Scott, President; Janis Peterson, Past President; Linda Trotter, Secretary; Bryan Kolk, Treasurer; Ellen Boyer, Member At Large.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Thank you to our nominating committee of Tim Staudacher, Mark Kotchenruther and Bob Phillips AND to the other great nominees Jonathan Glawe, Elizabeth Knoll and Susan Dietrich Reed.
  2.
Attached is a copy of the revised Bylaws.  Please respond to this e-mail by January 10th to place your vote.  You only need to type 'YES' or 'NO' into the body of the e-mail.
