Dear Janis,

The Sphinx Overture program is looking for violin assistant teachers for a couple of our group classes in Flint, MI effective immediately.  Please let me know if you have any recommendations for candidates or if you would be able to share this job posting with colleagues.  Qualified college and/or advanced students could be a good fit for this position.  Do you know whether I would be able to post or send this to a MASTA list?

The Sphinx Organization has openings for Assistant teachers for its Sphinx Overture program, beginning 1/17.

The Overture program is a free after-school program that provides group violin classes to Detroit and Flint students.  Two positions in Flint are available, and it is possible for the same candidate to cover both.
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 4:30-5:15pm
- Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3-3:45pm
Compensation is $15-$37.50, based on experience.
