Good morning,



Here is an informational email I have created to send out to membership
regarding the Teachers Orchestra at MMC:



Dear Michigan Teaching Colleagues,



I want to personally invite you to be a part of this
year's MMC Teachers Orchestra. This is a tremendous way to swap ideas with
colleagues, experience string repertoire in a new way, and make music while
you are at a music conference! Registration for the Michigan Music
Conference will be open soon. Please find important information regarding
this year's MMC Teachers Orchestra and related Conducting Symposium
below. (Note:
The timing of the Teacher's Orchestra will allow for participation in the
Conducting Symposium should you choose to be a part and also requires a
separate registration fee.)



We are delighted to be joined by *Dr. Matthew Aubin* as this year's
clinician! Dr. Aubin serves as Music Director of the Jackson Symphony
Orchestra and as Artistic Director for The Chelsea Symphony in New York
City. Our repertoire will include: Grieg's Holberg Suite (Mvt. 1, 2, 3), an
arrangement of Mahler Symphony No. 1, Mvt. 2, and Britten's Simple Symphony
(Mvt. 1, 2, 4).
