[MASTA] Upcoming webinars

Dear MASTA members,

National ASTA has two upcoming webinars free to members:
1) Wednesday, September 16 from 4-5 PM EST. The topic of this webinar 
will be: Virtual Virtuosos: How to engage your String Ensemble while 
Teaching Remotely, Face to Face, Hybrid or all of the above!
Topics covered will include online engagement, planning and presenting 
successful sessions, various teaching scenarios, recruitment and 
building a community of student musicians regardless of the challenges 
presented in the classroom.

2) Thursday, October 22 from 5-6pm ET. The topic of this webinar will 
be: Practical Tips for Teaching Virtual Beginners
Join ASTA for a program dedicated to the challenging task of teaching 
beginning string students online. Topics will include:
• What to do if your students don't have instruments
• Tuning instruments
• Basic technical skills
• Note reading
• Assessment
• Online resources and games
This is a difficult year in many ways, but we're all in this together. 
With positive ideas and more resources than ever before, we will emerge 
even stronger as string teachers of the future.
