Hello,

My name is Felipe and I am the assistant director of the Bornoff Foundation
for the Advancement of String Education. We have been partnering with ASTA
on a number of initiatives to support string teachers from underrepresented
backgrounds, including the Diverse String Teachers Professional Development
Fellowship. Would it be possible to share this opportunity below with your
state ASTA membership?

We would also love to partner with your chapter and provide support for
state programming if needed! We can provide workshops or presentations on
string pedagogy and inclusive classroom practices, or work directly with
students in honor groups or adjudicated events. Our grant program is also
available to teachers and programs nationwide.

Development Fellowship!*

Sponsored by the Bornoff Foundation for the Advancement of String Education
(FASE), the program offers a unique support system for string teachers from
underrepresented backgrounds. Participants can connect with peers, process
their experiences, grow their skill and confidence as pedagogues, and learn
from diverse mentors. FASE provides a robust package of training,
resources, and ongoing support for participants to make an immediate
difference in both their classrooms and their careers.
