[MASTA] EMU ChamberFest Dec 5 – Nominations Due Oct 31

Dear Colleagues,

Thanks to the support of Women in Philanthropy at Eastern Michigan
University, we’re thrilled to host *ChamberFest 2025
<https://www.emich.edu/music-dance/music/ensembles/orchestra/chamberfest.php>*
 on *Friday, December 5 *for *high school chamber ensembles*,
featuring the *Formosa
Quartet <https://www.formosaquartet.com/>, *winners of the Wigmore Hall
String Quartet Competition, and EMU String Faculty.

to *nominate 2–3 advanced high school chamber groups (grades 9–12)* in
ranked order by October 31. Eligible ensembles: strings-only or
strings-with-piano trios, quartets, quintets, or sextets with bass. Cello
ensembles may also apply. Groups should prepare a movement from the chamber
repertoire.

   Chamber coachings with Formosa & EMU faculty

   Formosa-led clinic
   -

   *6:00 PM* – Public ChamberFest Concert in Alexander Recital Hall

This is a great opportunity for chamber groups preparing for recitals or
competitions to work with a seasoned, professional ensemble!
