[MASTA] Early Career Recognition Award

Dear MASTA members,
We have a MASTA award that we realized we have not awarded in quite a few
years and would like to bring it to your attention. This is the Early
Career Recognition Award.
The Early Career Recognition Award is given to a MASTA
member in their first ten years of professional teaching who has
demonstrated a
strong commitment to excellence in teaching, and service to the MASTA
organization.
Qualifications
a) Less than 10 years of professional orchestra and/or studio teaching
b) Demonstrated service to the profession
c) Member in good standing of ASTA
d) Nominated by a MASTA Member
e) Self-nominations are not allowed
f) Prior award winners are ineligible
*Per the policy manual, as this is an even year (2026), this year the award
will be given to a Orchestra Teacher/Director*
Please nominate those deserving of this recognition by October 1.
