[MASTA] Last Spots Remaining - Apply Now for the MASTA Chamber Music Festival & Competition!

Greetings, MASTA colleagues!

Thank you to all the teachers and parents who have already submitted
applications! I truly appreciate your support for chamber music.

*We still have a few more spots left, so if you've missed the initial
deadline, Apply Now!*

This year’s *MASTA Chamber Music Festival & Competition* will take place *on
Monday, March 2, 2026*, at the College of Music, Michigan State University,
East Lansing.

The *Festival is open to students in grades 7–12*, and the *Competition is
open to students in grades 9–12.* Advanced ensembles interested in
competing must prepare one movement from a substantial chamber work.

The day includes a live faculty concert, two engaging enrichment classes,
focused coaching sessions, and will conclude with the final competition
round, which is open to the public.

The winning ensemble will receive a $200 award and an invitation to perform
as a featured group at the MSBOA Spring Honors Recital.

All participating ensembles will receive a written evaluation form from
their coaches. Competition participants will have an additional written
feedback from the adjudicators.

So, have your students join us for an inspiring day of chamber music, where
they will refine their ensemble skills under the guidance of world-class
coaches and immerse themselves in a day full of meaningful musical
experiences!

*Registrations will be accepted until the extended deadline: Friday,
February 13*.
After that, registration will remain open only until all spots are filled.
