[Members] HS Tri-Mester Scheduling

The Grosse Pointe Public Schools are very seriously considering a
trimester scheduling model for the 07-08 academic year in order to save
money in our state's difficult, economic times.  The word is that such a
scheduling model ruins orchestra and band programs.  Are there any
current HS string teachers who teach with a trimester system and how
have you made it work?  Any feedback, experience, or thoughts would be
welcomed.
