[Members] Fwd: MMC Call for Presentors/Sessions/Performing Ensembles!

Greetings MASTA members!!

With the planning of the 2011 conference well underway, it's time for  
all our  MASTA members to consider how they can be involved. Remember,  
this conference is presented FOR YOU,  BY YOU and BECAUSE of YOU! Have  
you ever considered being a presenter for a session?  If not, it's  
time! Have you considered bringing an orchestra to be featured on one  
of the MSBOA concerts? How about featuring an ensemble, whole music  
department or specialized area on one of the Thursday or Friday  
evening concerts?  This year, it could be your group!

If any of these areas sound interesting, all applications, guidelines  
and deadlines can be found at the MMC website. Go to  www.michiganmusicconference.org

Deadlines are fast approaching:

SESSION NEED TO BE SUBMITTED:  On-Line Application Deadline:  Monday,  
March 29, 2010

YOUR Featured Ensemble or Department for Thursday or Friday evening  
concerts: Application deadline:  Wednesday, May 12, 2010 3 p.m  
Applications to the MMC Office   (Featured ensembles/groups/ 
departments can be from any level: Elementary, Middle School, High  
School, College, University, Community or Professional)

YOUR Featured Ensemble in concert either Friday or Saturday during the  
day: Application deadline: Thursday, May 20, 2010 5 p.m.  Applications  
to MSBOA Office

The Michigan Music Conference is successful because of the talented  
and active members in all our music education organizations. Please  
continue to support the conference and consider if 2011 is the year  
for you to share.
