MICHIGAN YOUTH ARTS

Michigan Youth Arts logoField Trip Organization and Teaching Artists Directory A1
Michigan Youth Arts and MCACA are proud to announce the beginning of an innovative field trip and teaching artist directory, which is now accessible on the Michigan Youth Arts website . This free online tool serves as a valuable resource for arts educators in Michigan, as it allows them to search for and pinpoint the perfect arts or cultural experience for their students, whether it's inside or outside of the classroom. The database not only broadens access to field trip opportunities, but encourages the practice of bringing teaching artists directly into the classroom, which will supplement a robust school-based arts curriculum. The database will initially include more than 250 arts and cultural organizations, performances, residencies, and workshops.
