[MASTA] West Michigan Bass Workshop announced by MASTA

Dear Colleague,

This year for the first time ever we are expanding on the 30-year tradition
of the Troy Bass Workshop by bringing it to Grand Rapids! The Michigan West
Bass Fest is sponsored by MASTA and will be hosted at North Pointe
Christian High School onSaturday, May 2nd. Featured clinicians include
Michael Hovnanian of the Grand Rapids Symphony; John Kennedy, former
president of the International Society of Bassists; and Maggie Hasspacher,
performing bass and vocal works. The Michigan West Bass Fest will provide
your bass students an opportunity to play in ensembles, perform solos, and
receive coaching from nationally renowned bass teachers. Please pass this
application and information sheet on to your bass students. We hope you
will encourage them to attend, and teachers are welcome to observe as well.
