Dear Michigan Teaching Colleagues,

I want to personally invite you to be a part of this year's MMC Teachers Orchestra. This is a tremendous way to swap ideas with colleagues, experience string repertoire in a new way, and make music while you are at a music conference! Registration for the Michigan Music Conference is now open. Please find important information regarding this year's MMC Teachers Orchestra and related Conducting Symposium attached. (*Note: The timing of the Teacher's Orchestra will allow for participation in the Conducting Symposium should you choose to be a part.)

We are delighted to be joined by Mr. Alan McNair as this year's clinician! Our repertoire will include: Barber - Adagio for Strings, Dvorak - Serenade for Strings Mvt IV: Finale and a world premier of a work Bob Phillips is writing specifically for the 2018 MSBOA/MASTA Teachers Orchestra.
