[MASTA] MASTA Teacher of the Year and Administrator of the Year

Dear MASTA members,

We are accepting nominations for the 2025 MASTA Teacher of the Year and
2025 MASTA Administrator of the Year, to be awarded at the 2025 Michigan
Music Conference! Nominations for these prestigious awards will be accepted
until November 15, 2025.

This being an even numbered year, the Teacher of the Year will be a *Studio
Teacher*.

The Teacher of the Year:

   - Must be nominated in the area that they are currently teaching
   (orchestra teacher/director or studio teacher)
   - 10 years of quality teaching in the state of Michigan
   - Demonstrated service to the profession
   - Member in good standing of ASTA
   - Nominated by a current MASTA Member
   - Self-nominations are not allowed

Teacher of the Year will be a *Studio Teacher.*

The Administrator of the Year:

   - Administrator for 5 years in the State of Michigan.
   - Currently working as an administrator
   - Significant contribution to the promotion, maintenance, and/or growth
   to string education in Michigan.
   - Nominated in Fall by a MASTA Member - Prior award winners are
   ineligible
   - Selected by the MASTA Executive Board
