Dear MASTA Member:
Hope your post Labor Day activities are going well and you are surrounded
by great music-making whenever possible.

It is the official time for me to request MASTA Teacher of the Year AND
Administrator of the Year nominations.  Nominations will be accepted
through October 15th.

Teachers nominated should be outstanding string educators who have a
history of excellence in the field of string education.  This year is a
conductor or school teacher year (we alternate between school teacher and
studio teacher each year).  All nominations must be from current MASTA
Members and the nominated educator must also be a current MASTA Member.

MASTA members may also nominate an outstanding administrator for
recognition this year.  The administrator of the year award is for someone
who has championed string education in particular.  Nominations will be
accepted from ANY MASTA member for administrator of the year.  The nominee
does not have to be a MASTA member.

E-mail your nominations to Dan Scott at dscott1996 at gmail.com by
October 15th for
consideration.
