[MASTA] Hal Grossman Workshop at Hillsdale College

Hello everyone—



I would like you all to know that we are bringing in Hal Grossman to give a
lecture “No Pain, ALL GAIN” and a masterclass on Monday, October 3 at
Hillsdale College.  Both sessions will be in the Howard Music Building, in
Conrad Recital Hall, 79 East College Street, Hillsdale:  lecture 3-4,
masterclass 7-8.  Hal is a nationally recognized expert in the development
of exercises specifically designed to keep string players physically
healthy. He is also a beautiful violinist.   I know he has given workshops
at Interlochen and Mimi Zweig’s String Academy.  I have included an
attachment detailing his approach. Please check out his website!  I realize
this is a busy time for you.  However, I strongly recommend the workshop.
We all have so much to learn about this important issue. Also, if you have
students who have some physical problems, please encourage them to bring
their instruments and play for him.
