UP Chamber Music Festival
The UP Chamber Music Festival was held October 13th and was a HUGE success! There were 26 ensembles/96 students, 18 string teachers/coaches, 2 music companies and several parent volunteers working together for music-making, learning and growth. Student ensembles had three coaching sessions, a reading session, improv class, opportunities to try new instruments and on-stage performing

Studio Teacher of the Year Recognition
MASTA’s 2016 Studio Teacher of the Year, Wendy Azrak, was honored at the Michigan Youth Arts Festival in May. She received a Touchstone Award and was recognized with other organization Teachers of the Year at a dinner and at the Gala Concert.
