Grand Valley State University will be hosting their sixth annual String Leadership Day on Saturday, October 17. Top high school string players are invited to attend this one day session of rehearsals, sectionals, master classes, and evening concert featuring the Festival Orchestra and Best of Day soloists. This year’s distinguished guest conductor for the 100 member Festival Orchestra is Raphael Jimenez, orchestra director at Oberlin Conservatory.
