The Michigan Music Educators Task Force led by Greg Normandin has 
compiled public service announcements (PSAs) and other advocacy

The idea is to send them to all of our members to use in whatever way 
will help their own programs. Any combination of the PSA's can be sent 
to Superintendents, Principals, and other administrators. We can also 
use them to advocate for our programs to parent groups and wherever it 
may help. Included with the videos are some supporting documents:

1. Key messages if anyone wishes more information
2. A sample press release
3. A sample letter to administrators
4. A sample letter to our district presidents/leaders

Please send this packet to your members ASAP

  * Things are in place for our clinic on Saturday. John is ready to go
    and we have participants registered. *Can you please give a shout
    out to members to register for this event along with the PSA
    materials*? I'm sure we can get more people involved than we
    currently have. It is a free clinic with a national expert in a
    friendly time frame!


  * Janis has finished her article and it is excellent. I hope to share
    it in the next communication.


  * Bryan is working on the resource library


I am very proud of what this group has done in a relatively short period 
of time. You are amazing, dedicated educators.
